Shelia Jenkins was born and raised in New Orleans, LA.  She moved to coastal Mississippi in 1983, where she worked for a short time as a Manager in Retail Sales.  But God had other plans for Shelia and on January 31, 1983, she applied and was accepted to the Pascagoula Police Department.  She was shown great favor by God in her career, successfully handling many high-profile cases and winning many prestigious awards, including Officer of the Year Award given by the Missing and Exploited Children  Network.  Retiring after twenty-five years with the rank of Police Detective Sergeant, Shelia was called into Ministry and accepted the call at Abundant Life Christian Center where she has made excellent use of her skills and training.  The contacts she made during the course of her career has helped her become a vital resource for VIMG.  Shelia has two grown sons, and three grandchildren.
